The Community Association is a non-profit making registered charity, who manage the facilities at the Village Centre in Crawshawbooth for the local community.
Working together the CA & Community have secured the future of The Village Centre in Crawshawbooth. The CA plan to accomodate more Community & User Groups & have recently re-opened the Library as a Childrens Library.

We have recently completed a refurb in the Library area, which has re-opened as a Childrens Library complete with a relaxing refreshment area with free WIFI. We also hope to develop a drop in hub for people to use & enjoy the facilities.
Crawshawbooth Community Library is now open! It is nearly two years since the old Crawshawbooth Library was closed by Lancashire County Council due to a cost cutting review. During that time we have been working behind the scenes with many different departments @ LCC to secure the complete transfer of The Village Centre building, including the Library to The CA.
The old Library area has been re-decorated with the carpets cleaned ready for re-opening. The Community Library offers Children's Books plus Large Print & a 'Book Exchange' for the older reader. Seating, WIFI & Refreshments are also available.
